:: K. Family ::

I had an amazing session with this family about ten days ago.  We headed down to the orchards, one of the most requested locations, and they did not disappoint.  The trees were beautiful, the back lighting was incredible, and the ground was covered with dandelions.  This little guy fell in love with dandelions and we spent the majority of the session playing with them.  I was so happy with the amazing images we came out with.  They are stunning!  It was such a great evening.  Here are a few of my favorites, so far:

We ended the session with a few pictures at the train tracks.  This one, above, is my favorite from the tracks.  Especially because this cute little guy has his room decorated with trains.  Perfect!

:: M. Family ::

On Friday night, we headed to one of my most favorite (and top secret, haha!) locations.  I was really excited to do pictures of this cute family.  I had so much fun with these two cute boys and their parents.  I always get a kick watching the parents of young kids stress a little bit at photo sessions... and I only enjoy it because it's not be on the other end of the camera!  I can just completely relate to the stress.  But, my favorite thing is posting some incredible sneak peeks for these families.  That way they realize the stress was all worth it!

I know the two boys aren't smiling and they both look grumpy, but I just love their little faces so much!  I loved this backdrop so much, but the boys didn't quite love it as much.

Landry liked the tires a lot better when he got to pick his own spot.

Isn't this such a beautiful little family?  I just love them!

Oh, sweet little Corbin!  I think it's torture for babies this age to sit on the grass (so many babies hate sitting on the grass!), but we finally got a teeny little smile from him.

I brought along the Radio Flyer tricycle and once Landry got a hold of that thing, we couldn't get him off of it.  I thought it was pretty adorable!

Look!  Everyone is smiling!  It's pretty much a miracle when you have a baby and a two year old :)

It was a lot of fun and the perfect day for taking family pictures!

:: Paige :: Utah County Bridal Photographer

I wasn't able to post pictures of beautiful Paige's bridal session because her fiance (now husband) hadn't seen her dress.  I filed them away and forgot that I never posted them!  What a shame, because Paige makes a beautiful bride.

We took a few pictures at Salem Pond, but this one was my favorite from that location.

The rest of my pictures were taken in front of (and around) an old run down barn and I absolutely love how they turned out!  I think the reason I loved the location of the run down barn in Paige's bridals is because she was raised as an orchard farmer's daughter.

Paige has been married for about six months now, and it makes me happy to see her so happy!

:: Easton :: Utah County Newborn Photographer

I think that newborn sessions are right up there on my list of favorites.  I love having a couple hours to snuggle with a tiny new little baby but not having to feed them or change their dirty diapers.  Maybe this is what it will feel like to be a Grandma someday?  Hah!  I took pictures of Easton when he was just six days old.  He was so tiny and so precious!  I think he may have been the easiest baby I've ever done pictures of.  He was pretty content the whole entire time.  When he was hungry, he didn't fuss at all.  Instead, he just tried to suck on anything he could get his little mouth on.  He was so adorable!  At the end of the session, we were able to snap a couple quick pictures of Easton and his big sister, Ellie.  I did pictures of Ellie a couple years ago so it was a lot of fun to see how much she had grown!  Here are a few of my favorites from this session so far:

:: Mia - 8 Days Old :: Utah County Newborn Photographer

I had an incredible newborn session with tiny little Mia last Thursday.  She was only eight days old and she was a dream to pose.  I always tell parents the earlier you can do pictures, the better.  She was proof why!  It took a little love (and the warm little space heater), but she did a good job staying how I wanted her too.  She was so tiny and so precious!  Here are a couple of my favorites from the session:

:: Tahnee's Bridals :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

I have been waiting to post the images from this session for almost a month!  Tahnee and Paul went the traditional route and Paul wasn't allowed to see Tahnee in her wedding dress before the wedding, which is why I haven't been able to post these gorgeous images until now.  Tahnee looked absolutely breath taking in her dress and her hair was so pretty!  I was shocked when she told me she did her hair all by herself.  Amazing!  Here are a few favorites from my session with Tahnee:

Tahnee also made her own veil.  I thought it was so elegant!

Tahnee and Paul were married this past weekend.  I am so happy for them!  I'll have to post some of their wedding images soon.

:: Cherry Orchards :: Utah County Photographer, Provo UT Photographer

After Easter, I was just waiting for the orchards to blossom.  I really wanted to get pictures of my kids in their Easter clothes when the orchards were blossomed.  Fortunately for me, I live next door to several different kinds of orchards.  Apple, peach, and tart cherry.  All of the orchards blossom at different times and the blossoms last less than a week.  The cherry orchards are the only orchards that blossom this bright white color.  I knew I wanted the white blossoms to match their outfits so we just waited.  One day, after running a couple errands, we did our usual drive by to check on the orchards.  Low and behold, they were blossomed! I ran the kids home, bribed them with a sucker, changed their clothes, and we ran back to the orchards to get some pictures.  It's always a lot more work doing pictures of my own kids (especially since I'm usually by myself), but I was happy that we at least got a couple pictures this year.  I love these orchards!

I love these kids, too.

:: Morgan Extended Family :: Utah County Family Photographer

This session was so much fun!  I'm always a tiny bit hesitant when I'm asked to do pictures for big extended families.  It requires me to be a little more bossy (posing larger groups) and a little more silly (getting lots of kids to smile) than I usually am.  Fortunately for me, this family was so much fun!  We met at Thanksgiving Point and did pictures there and the scenery was breathtaking.  I'm having a lot of fun editing their session, though it's taking me a little longer than normal because of the huge amount of images I took.  Since today is Amy's (the cute redhead!) birthday, I figured I'd post a few of my favorites so far.

Happy birthday, Amy!

Aren't they cute?  They are some of my favorite friends!
