:: Paige :: Utah County Bridal Photographer

I wasn't able to post pictures of beautiful Paige's bridal session because her fiance (now husband) hadn't seen her dress.  I filed them away and forgot that I never posted them!  What a shame, because Paige makes a beautiful bride.

We took a few pictures at Salem Pond, but this one was my favorite from that location.

The rest of my pictures were taken in front of (and around) an old run down barn and I absolutely love how they turned out!  I think the reason I loved the location of the run down barn in Paige's bridals is because she was raised as an orchard farmer's daughter.

Paige has been married for about six months now, and it makes me happy to see her so happy!

:: Tahnee's Bridals :: Utah County Wedding Photographer

I have been waiting to post the images from this session for almost a month!  Tahnee and Paul went the traditional route and Paul wasn't allowed to see Tahnee in her wedding dress before the wedding, which is why I haven't been able to post these gorgeous images until now.  Tahnee looked absolutely breath taking in her dress and her hair was so pretty!  I was shocked when she told me she did her hair all by herself.  Amazing!  Here are a few favorites from my session with Tahnee:

Tahnee also made her own veil.  I thought it was so elegant!

Tahnee and Paul were married this past weekend.  I am so happy for them!  I'll have to post some of their wedding images soon.

:: Shay & Colton ::

Remember when I posted about Shay's bridals? Well, last weekend was her gorgeous wedding on the beach in Morro Bay, California. It was a quick trip for me and the plane ride made my newly pregnant self completely sick but in the end it was totally worth it. I'm pretty sure there couldn't have been a more gorgeous location for a wedding or a better backdrop for wedding pictures. The day before their wedding, the weather was foggy and dreary. The day after was even more foggy, cold, and dreary. The day of their wedding was perfect. The sun was shining and their wasn't a cloud in the sky. It was beautiful. There were so many tiny details that went into this wedding that completely fit Shay and Colton's personality and made it so memorable: the girls all had red shoes, but they just carried them as an accessory rather than wearing them on the beach. The boys all sported flip-flops and chains on their tuxes. There were rose petals strewn all along the bridal path on the beach. One of my other favorite details: Colton's ring. It even matched their wedding colors and was one of the coolest rings I've ever seen. It completely fit him and I know he's going to be proud to wear it! No matter how gorgeous the wedding and all the details were, I have to admit that my favorite part was spending time with Shay. I was honored to be able to help her get ready, calm her nerves, help her go potty (haha!), and just hang out with her like the good ol' days. For the record, I said that her bridal shoot was my favorite shoot so far. That's not true anymore, this one is!

I haven't even looked at the photos of the reception yet. I've been having way too much fun with all of these gorgeous beach photos. So, for now, enjoy the sneak peek!

:: Shannon & Josh ::

I'm completely behind with my editing and sneak previews! The big day for Shannon and Josh finally rolled around, two weeks ago. It was a beautiful (and hot!) day in St. George. It was a lot of fun running around and taking pictures. Josh and Shannon's personalities were every where in the ceremony. It was just how they were hoping it would be: fun and laid back. Her brother, dad, and brothers-in-law were all wearing their matching Hawaiian print shirts for the reception. Here is a small preview of some of the editing I have finished so far:

Did I mention Shannon's older sister, Megan, is one of my best friends from high school? I couldn't resist taking a picture of her adorable family.

{ Shay }

Oh. my. gosh. I am still on a photographer's high from this session! I went to St. George for a couple sessions last weekend and I still can't get over how fun it was; however, I think this session with Shay is my all-time favorite session so far to date. An hour before our session was scheduled to start it was dumping rain. I was horrified because I thought we might have to reschedule - not an easy task when I live in Northern Utah and Shay lives in California! Luckily, the storm stopped just before our session and by the time we finished it was sprinkling again. The storm actually ended up being wonderful because the lighting was soft and beautiful and the sky couldn't have looked more gorgeous. Combine the beautiful landscape with a beautiful bride... I don't think we could have taken a bad shot! Shay's wedding is in October (a beach wedding in California - can't wait to spend time photographing her and her soon-to-be husband on the beach!) and I'm even more excited than I was before. I loved everything about this session: loved the dress, loved the hair, loved the flower, loved the umbrella, loved the red shoes, and especially I loved spending time with the beautiful bride!

{ Shannon & Josh }

Remember this cute couple I did engagement pictures for a few months ago? Well, time flies and their wedding is just around the corner. They decided they wanted something a little different than the normal Southern Utah wedding pictures (aka red rock) so they headed up to my place to have the pictures taken. I've been wanting an excuse to take some more pictures in the orchards next to my house, and I was glad when these two were up for it. I am really happy with they way they turned out - everything looks so lush and green! If you look close, you'll be able to spot the cherries and apples in a few of the pictures.

Look close at Shannon's dress - isn't it beautiful? Her Mom made it!

Here's a sneak preview of a few of the pictures I've edited so far:
