:: K. Family ::

I had an amazing session with this family about ten days ago.  We headed down to the orchards, one of the most requested locations, and they did not disappoint.  The trees were beautiful, the back lighting was incredible, and the ground was covered with dandelions.  This little guy fell in love with dandelions and we spent the majority of the session playing with them.  I was so happy with the amazing images we came out with.  They are stunning!  It was such a great evening.  Here are a few of my favorites, so far:

We ended the session with a few pictures at the train tracks.  This one, above, is my favorite from the tracks.  Especially because this cute little guy has his room decorated with trains.  Perfect!

:: M. Family ::

On Friday night, we headed to one of my most favorite (and top secret, haha!) locations.  I was really excited to do pictures of this cute family.  I had so much fun with these two cute boys and their parents.  I always get a kick watching the parents of young kids stress a little bit at photo sessions... and I only enjoy it because it's not be on the other end of the camera!  I can just completely relate to the stress.  But, my favorite thing is posting some incredible sneak peeks for these families.  That way they realize the stress was all worth it!

I know the two boys aren't smiling and they both look grumpy, but I just love their little faces so much!  I loved this backdrop so much, but the boys didn't quite love it as much.

Landry liked the tires a lot better when he got to pick his own spot.

Oh, sweet little Corbin!  I think it's torture for babies this age to sit on the grass (so many babies hate sitting on the grass!), but we finally got a teeny little smile from him.

I brought along the Radio Flyer tricycle and once Landry got a hold of that thing, we couldn't get him off of it.  I thought it was pretty adorable!

Look!  Everyone is smiling!  It's pretty much a miracle when you have a baby and a two year old :)

It was a lot of fun and the perfect day for taking family pictures!

This session was so much fun!  I'm always a tiny bit hesitant when I'm asked to do pictures for big extended families.  It requires me to be a little more bossy (posing larger groups) and a little more silly (getting lots of kids to smile) than I usually am.  Fortunately for me, this family was so much fun!  We met at Thanksgiving Point and did pictures there and the scenery was breathtaking.  I'm having a lot of fun editing their session, though it's taking me a little longer than normal because of the huge amount of images I took.  Since today is Amy's (the cute redhead!) birthday, I figured I'd post a few of my favorites so far.

I am so behind on my photography blog!  Life has been crazy busy.  I've had a few sessions, my grandma passed away, lots of traveling, finishing the backyard, etc.  During all that, I neglected posting any sneak previews on my blog.  Apologies!

Back before Spring hit, some of our best friends came into town.  While they were here, we ran out and did a quick family session for them.  They have such a beautiful family and they are so fun to do pictures of.  not only that, but I know when they come I get to spend the whole weekend with them too.  They are like family! They've had these pictures for months now, but even so, here are a few of my favorites from that session.

I had a session with this adorable family last week.  I was nervous about timing and lighting since it gets dark so early and so quick now, but it ended up being absolutely gorgeous.  It wasn't too cold, the kids were so cooperative, and the family is beautiful!  I am slow on getting their sneak preview posted (I was in charge of Super Saturday for my church - now that it's over I'm able to get to work!), but here it is!

While I was in St. George, I was able to take some pictures of my sister and her family.  She was in need of her regular fall family pictures (which I can't post because it would spoil her Christmas cards!), pictures of the twins who are turning three soon, and pictures of the baby who is turning one in about a month.  I had a lot of fun taking pictures of these cute kids - it gives me a reason to hang out with them while my kids aren't there so I get to feel like a fun aunt for a few minutes.

My sister made the adorable 1 cupcake shirt.  Isn't it to die for?  She also made ones for the twins with a 3 on them.  They turned out so cute.

Does this picture crack anyone else up?  The twins look like little Ralph Lauren models or something.

I had a quick session with this adorable family again.  I did little McCoy's newborn pictures a few months ago and their family pictures last year.  It's fun watching their family grow and change.  It's amazing how much little kids change in just a year.  These kids are so cute, they were cracking me up the whole entire time.  I just love this little family!

I had a really fun session with an adorable family on Monday.  These parents are such cute parents to their ten month old twin boys.  It was fun sitting back and watching them shuffle the boys back and forth like pros.  These boys were beyond adorable, but total opposites!  One of them smiled if I even made half an attempt at eye contact while the other one made me (and both parents!) work for every single quick smile.  But, guess what?  We got some adorable shots of both boys smiling.  Here's a quick sneak peek of what I've finished so far:
