:: Paul & Tahnee :: Utah County Engagement Photographer

Meet my cute friend, Tahnee:

Not too long ago, Tahnee met the man of her dreams.  I think the story of how they were set up and how the whole relationship went down is pretty amazing.  I have loved being able to see her fall in love and get engaged!  I did her engagements awhile back (almost a month ago, actually) and I'm just barely getting around to posting some of my favorites.  This session was probably the most fun engagement session I've ever done.  It was short and sweet and I'm pretty sure we spent more time laughing than we did taking pictures, thanks to Paul.

Tahnee and Paul's wedding is only a few weeks away now... I can't believe it!  I did Tahnee's bridals last week and I'm dying to post them... unfortunately for me, I have to wait until after the wedding.  Congrats to Tahnee and Paul!

:: Chad & Mandy's Bridals/Groomals :: Utah County Wedding Photograher

Remember this session with Chad and Mandy?  Time went by quickly and their wedding is already just around the corner.  A few weeks ago (I'm behind, remember?) they came up North to have their Bridals and Groomals done.  We chose one of my favorite locations.  The lush greenery plus the beautiful stone work gets me every time!  The lighting was beautiful and we used up every last drop of sunlight.  I got a lot of great images during this session and, as always, I had a really hard time narrowing down and trying to decide which images to post here.  Even though Chad and Mandy already have their disc of photos, I thought I'd still post a few of my favorites from their session here.

Their big day is on Friday!  I'm excited to be able to shoot their photos after they are married.  Prepare for another blog post featuring Mandy and Chad before too long.

:: Chad & Mandy :: Utah County Engagement Photographer, Utah County Wedding Photographer

While I was in St. George last weekend, I was able to squeeze in an engagement session with Chad and Mandy.  I loved being able to do a session in sunny St. George - it looked and felt like spring there!  The weather and the lighting were both perfect.  I'm looking forward to doing the rest of their wedding pictures in the upcoming months.  I'm not quite finished editing the session yet, but I do have a few finished.  Even with a smaller selection (since I'm not finished editing), I still had a hard time narrowing down my favorite images from the session; here's a little sneak peek:

:: Ben & Kaitlyn :: Utah County Engagement Photographer, Utah County Wedding Photographer

I am so behind on blogging from my recent sessions... life has been hectic, to say the least!

Remember the adorable engagement pictures from the post below?  Well here are just a few of their wedding pictures.  We only had a half hour total, at the most, to take wedding pictures but I think we managed to squeeze in a few fun ones.  Congratulations, again, to Ben and Kaitlyn!

:: Ben & Kaitlyn :: Utah County Engagement Photographer, Utah County Wedding Photographer

This last weekend, we headed down to sunny St. George to attend the wedding of my brother-in-law.  I was excited to be able to squish in their engagement pictures and do the wedding pictures all in one day.  It was a little crazy, but it was a lot of fun to spend a little extra time with Kaitlyn and Ben before they ran off after the wedding.  Oh, I forgot to mention that I was lucky enough to have my husband TJ tag along and "help" me during this session... hah!  Good thing TJ is Ben's brother because he was being a big distraction.  Hilarious, but a distraction.  I'm up to my eyeballs in sessions to edit, but I couldn't resist posting a few of the images from their engagement session.

:: Mekelle & Gene :: Provo, Utah, Utah County Photographer

I was excited when my cute cousin, Mekelle, asked me to do her engagement photos. Then, I remembered that it's been less than 20 degrees outside and there's tons of snow everywhere. I've never done a session in the snow before, and I was nervous! It's hard to find a spot with clean, pretty white snow (instead of the dirty yucky snow that is by any road or high traffic areas) and it's even harder to keep your nose from turning bright red when it's freezing cold outside. But, guess what? It was a giant success! We were way limited on time, thanks to the fact that it gets dark so early and it was so cold, but we came away with some amazing images. Not only that, but it was fun to see Mekelle and meet her fiancée. Since her wedding is only a month away, I've been editing like crazy to get these pictures finished. So, without further ado, here's a sneak peek for Mekelle and the rest of the family:

:: Megan & Eric :: St. George, Utah Engagement Photographer

I am so excited for Megan to get married! Megan is one of my best friends from high school and I just love her. We don't get to hang out as much as I'd like so I was really excited when she asked me to take her engagement pictures. It was my first time meeting Eric and... I approve. Really, he's the perfect match for my hilariously fun Megan.

P.S. I'll be designing their wedding invitation as well. To prove how awesome and funny Megan is, here's an except for the wording for her invitation:

"Donnell and Janet (I'm keeping their last name a secret, thanks to all the weirdos in the world)
are thoroughly stoked to announce the marriage of their daughter,
Megan Ruth..."

And yes. She's dead serious. Only Megan could pull of a wedding invitation that includes the word stoked.

And that is why I love her.

:: Chad & Anais :: Provo, Utah, Utah County Engagement Photographer

I had an amazing engagement session last night with this adorable couple. It was even more fun for me because their "love story" was so similar to mine and TJ's. Anais and Chad met before his mission, she waited for him, and their engagement is only five weeks long. Thanks again for such a wonderful time, and congratulations on the wedding!

P.S. I love this picture because it shows her engagement ring and the promise ring he gave her before his mission. So cute!
